How High She Flies - by Ann Cooper

Ann Cooper, a writer who has produced several fine books on various pilots, such as Patty Wagstaff, the woman aerobatic champion and air show extraordinaire, and on aviation art, took the time to produce a book on the life and work Dorothy Swain Lewis, entitled "How High She Flies", filled with illustrations of her artwork and pictures of her life, from her early years in North Carolina to the mountains of California. While no longer in print, there are still copies available at certain stores and book sellers.

In addition, Dot illustrated several children's books and the book "WE WERE WASPs" by her long-time friend Winifred Wood, who was in the WASP program during WWII, originally from Miami, Florida.
